Neelay showcased his critically acclaimed musical fashion theatre show 'THAKUR BARIR SAAJ POSHAK' in Manchester,U.K on 2019 where Miss England 2019 Dr.Bhasa Mukherjee was the show stopper. He introduced an exceptional concept of attire designing based on bengal's age old heritage of 'kantha stitch' and 'khadi; which carried the essence of India's historical nationalism.This uniques actually seperate Neelay from the mainstream contemporary designers and led him towards the successful emergence of the brand 'ektukhani kantha',he also shows the expertise on Indo-Western attire collection and in the process establishing of his own studio 'NEELAY SENGUPTA' in the year 2015. Sharmila Biswas proved his intellectual choreographic skill in the various medium of communication.As a young eminent choreographer he choreographed for an event on the celebration of the 100 year of India's national anthem 'Jana gana Mana',an initiative of Ms.MAMATA BANERJEE(honourable Chief Minister -West Bengal),script - RITUPARNO GHOSH and Music composition -BICKRAM GHOSH. His choreography and costume design in a periodical stage play DHARMASHOK and Greek tragedy MEDEA by Rangapat and costume design in SHYAMAR UDAL by Rangakarmee under the direction of Jamil Ahmed has been critically acclaimed.
