അഞ്ച് വർഷത്തിനു ശേഷം ആദ്യമായി ഇന്നെന്റെ താടി ഞാൻ കളഞ്ഞു.. പൂർവ സൈനികനായ എന്നെപ്പോലുള്ള ആയിരക്കണക്കിന് സൈനികർ തയ്യാറാണ് ബോർഡറിലേക്ക് വരാനും പാകിസ്താനി നായ്ക്കളോട് പൊരുതാനും അതിനു പ്രതിഫലമായി ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ഒരു രൂപ പോലും ശമ്പളം തരേണ്ടതുമില്ല, ഞങ്ങൾക്ക് ഞങ്ങളുടെ പെൻഷൻ മാത്രം മതി.. ശാരീരിക പരമായും മാനസികപരമായും ഞങ്ങൾ തയ്യാറെടുത്തു കഴിഞ്ഞു.. ഞങ്ങൾ എവിടെ ഇപ്പോൾ എത്തണം എന്ന് മാത്രം പറഞ്ഞാൽ മതി !!!
