ഡെമോക്രാറ്റിക് യൂത്ത് ഫെഡറേഷൻ ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ (ഡി.വൈ.എഫ്.ഐ) ഇന്ത്യയിലെ പ്രധാന ഇടതുപക്ഷ യുവജനസംഘടനയാണ്. രാഷ്ട്രീയമായി കമ്മ്യൂണിസ്റ്റ് പാർട്ടി ഓഫ് ഇന്ത്യ (മാർക്സിസ്റ്റ്) നോട് ബന്ധം പുലർത്തുകുയും അതേസമയം സ്വതന്ത്ര യുവജനസംഘടനയായി പ്രവർത്തിക്കുകയും ചെയ്യുന്ന ഡി.വൈ.എഫ്.ഐ 1980-ൽ ആണ്‌ രൂപീകൃതമായത്. ഡി.വൈ.എഫ്.ഐ.രൂപീകരിക്കുന്നതിനുമുൻപ് വിവിധ സംസ്ഥാനങ്ങളിൽ നിലനിന്നിരുന്ന സമാന ആശയഗതിയുള്ള സംഘടനകൾ ഒന്നിച്ചു ചേർന്നാണ് ഈ സംഘടന ഉണ്ടാകുന്നത്
