Woman Found Dead in Yaripora, Family Alleges Murder

Shopian, Aug 21: A woman identified as Urfee Jan, wife of Showket Ahmad Dar of Reban, fell unconscious and was rushed to SDH Yaripora, where doctors declared her brought dead. Her maternal family from Harnag Anantnag has alleged that she was killed by her in-laws. Police have shifted the body to DH Shopian for medico-legal formalities. Further investigation is underway.

Teenage boy found dead under mysterious circumstances in Kulgam village

Kulgam, Aug 15: A 15-year-old boy was found dead at Jadipora village in south Kashmir’s Kulgam district under suspicious circumstances at his residence.

The deceased has been identified as Athar Subzar, son of Subzar Ahmad, a 10th-grade student. Family members said they were shocked to find him unresponsive at home, prompting neighbours to alert the authorities.
