PDP leader Iltija M***i questioned the timing of highway maintenance during the peak fruit season, alleging that the ongoing work is disrupting the transportation of horticulture produce and causing heavy losses to growers. She interacted with stranded truck driver along national highway in Anantnag.
She demanded that the highway be opened for smooth movement of fruit-laden vehicles and warned that she would stage a dharna if the road is not made fully operational without further delay.
