Javid Mir Extends Warm Diwali Greetings, Calls for Unity and Community Service
Srinagar— October 20, 2025 — Youth leader, former Sarpanch Dardpora Kralpora, Prominent Youth and Socio-Political activist Javid Mir today extended warm Diwali greetings to citizens across India, urging people to celebrate the festival of lights with a spirit of unity, compassion, and community service. In his message, Javid Mir highlighted the importance of inclusive celebration, environmental mindfulness, and support for vulnerable communities during the festive season.
“As we light lamps this Diwali, let us also light the path for others,” said Javid Mir. “This festival reminds us that hope, kindness, and solidarity can overcome darkness. I encourage everyone to celebrate responsibly — with love for our planet and with practical acts of help for those who need it most.”
In his message, Javid Mir emphasized three key themes: unity across communities, safe and eco-friendly celebration, and giving back to support disadvantaged groups. He called on families, youth groups, and civic organizations to organize community-based efforts such as neighborhood clean-ups, donation drives for food and clothing, and volunteer visits to elderly care homes. Javid Mir noted that small, coordinated actions can amplify the positive impact of the festival and strengthen social bonds.
Javid Mir also urged caution around fireworks and decorators, recommending alternatives like diya (oil lamp) lighting, LED decorations, and community sound-monitoring to reduce noise and air pollution. “Our choices this Diwali matter,” He said. “Choosing low-emission celebrations protects children, elderly people, and those with respiratory conditions. It shows respect for our shared environment and for each other.”
