: BJP Hate Monger Minority leader Nazia Elahi Khan is openly addressing a press conference and allegedly calling for Hindus to boycott Indian Muslims from both private and government jobs. Such statements, if accurately represented, are deeply disturbing and dangerous for a democratic society.

What is even more alarming is that not a single journalist or news channel present reportedly challenged or questioned the statement. Instead of holding power accountable, sections of the media appear comfortable giving space to rhetoric that promotes division and social exclusion.

Calling for the economic and social boycott of an entire religious community is not normal political discourse. It targets citizens based on their identity and risks deepening hatred and polarization in society. If similar remarks were directed at any other community, there would likely be national outrage and nonstop debates on television.

The silence and selective outrage surrounding such statements raise serious concerns about how normalized anti-Muslim rhetoric has become in public discourse. Hate speech should be condemned consistently, regardless of who says it or which community is targeted.

India’s strength has always been its diversity and constitutional values, not calls for exclusion, discrimination, or collective punishment against millions of citizens.
