A grand convention of the Awami Ittehad Party (AIP) will be held at Environmental Hall, Handwara on Saturday, 10th January 2026 at 10:00 AM.
All AIP supporters, workers, and well-wishers are urged to participate and ensure the success of this important convention, being organised for the development of District Kupwara and North Kashmir, and to reaffirm our solidarity and unwavering support for our beloved jailed leader, Er. Rashid—the fearless voice and hope of the people of Jammu & Kashmir.
At least 5 members from every ward of each Panchayat must participate to ensure strong representation.

Today, Abrar Rashid visited Sopore town and Botingo to meet local residents and gain a deeper understanding of the challenges they are presently facing.
During this outreach initiative, I interacted with a diverse group of people, including members of civil society, social activists, and community representatives.
They highlighted a wide range of issues such as gaps in infrastructure, civic difficulties, road and drainage concerns, public utility shortcomings, and several matters related to public welfare and community development. Their feedback reflects the genuine aspirations and day-to-day struggles of the people in these areas.
Abrar Rashid assured them that their concerns would be taken up with the relevant authorities for timely redressal. Engaging directly with the community is essential to ensuring that development reaches every household, and I remain committed to working for their welfare.

Today i paid a visit to NTPHC Nowgam, where I inspected the functioning of healthcare facilities and reviewed the availability of essential medical services for our people.During the visit, I interacted with the medical staff and took firsthand feedback from patients regarding the services being provided. I assured them that all necessary steps will be taken to further strengthen and upgrade the health infrastructure to ensure better and timely healthcare delivery.

Public welfare and healthcare improvement remain our top priorities, and we are fully committed to addressing every concern of our people.

Subject to the conditions as imposed earlier. Travel cost is subject to the outcome of the appeal already pending before the High Court. Inna Lillahi wa Inna Ilayhi Raji’un.

I am deeply saddened to learn about the passing away of Patwari Mushtaq Ahmad, cousin brother of Hon’ble MP Baramulla, Er. Abdul Rashid (Er. Rasheed Sahib).
May Allah grant the departed soul the highest place in Jannat-ul-Firdaus and bless him with maghfirah and noor in the grave.

In this moment of grief, I extend my heartfelt condolences to the entire bereaved family, especially to Er. Rasheed Sahib. May Allah grant them patience, strength, and solace to bear this irreparable loss.

He passed away at a very young age, and his helpful, humble nature will always be remembered.
May his good deeds be a source of continuous reward for him. Aameen
