I regret my late entry in Journalism though I was working as independent anchor with Doordarshan and RJ at AIR, but real shift in my career came with my PG Diploma in Journalism which had turned my thought process completely. I believe that "Learning is a treasure that will follow its owner everywhere" but in similar vein I try to remember Clare Boothe Luce words "Because I am a woman, I must make

unusual efforts to succeed. If I fail, no one will say, ‘She doesn’t have what it takes.’ They will say, ‘Women don’t have what it takes.’”

Honestly like me, most of the media people have TV presence but only few have potential to test the water of true Journalism, I am trying to fit in that narrow band of journalist who emerge victorious on Camera and on Content. I have started my quest of meaningful jouranlism with Lao Tzu words "The journey of a thousand miles starts with a single step." जल निगम द्वारा गली में सीवर डालने के कार्य होने के बाद कैलाशपुरी गली नंबर 4 को जस तस स्थिति में छोड़कर जल निगम कर्मी पिछले एक माह से अपना कार्य पूरा कर चले गए, और गली को गड्ढा युक्त छोड़ गए। जिससे गली में रहने वाले व आने जाने वाले राहगीर को काफी समस्याओं का सामना करना पड़ता था। तमाम बाइक सवार काफी चोटिल भी हो चुके थे। तभी गली के आदर्श निवासियों ने मिलकर माननीय मुख्यमंत्री उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार द्वारा समन्वित शिकायत निवारण प्रणाली उत्तर प्रदेश को लिखित शिकायत दर्ज किया। तभी जल निगम के उच्च अधिकारियों में खलबली मच उठी और इस जटिल समस्या को त्वरित गति से निस्तारित करने में मोर्चा उठा लिया। शिकायतपत्र के दो दिवस बाद ही गली नंबर 4 कैलाशपुरी उत्तर प्रदेश सरकार की विकास की गंगा बह उठी, और गली का निर्माण कार्य शुरू हो गया।

धन्यवाद उन सभी तमाम समस्त आलाअधिकारियों का जो आम जनता की आवाज सुनने में बहिर सा महसूस कर रही थी, लेकिन सरकारी तंत्र के चाबुक के आगे आखिर उन्हें नतमस्तक होना ही पड़ता है।
