Important Notice – District Doda

The District Magistrate of Doda, Mr. Anil Kumar Thakur (JKAS, Addl. District Magistrate, Doda), has issued a prohibitory order under Section 163 BNSS, 2023 to maintain law and order and ensure peace.

According to the order, the following restrictions will remain in force across the entire jurisdiction of District Doda until further notice:

Gathering of four or more persons at one place is strictly prohibited.
No individual shall deliver provocative speeches, raise slogans, or make gestures that may disturb peace and harmony.
Carrying of sticks, lathis, or any kind of sharp/edged weapons is strictly banned.

Legal action will be taken against those who violate this order.

This step has been taken to safeguard peace, maintain law and order, and ensure the safety of the people in the district. Citizens are requested to cooperate with the administration and help maintain harmony.
