This is the historic Mundeshwari Devi Temple, a 2,000-year-old architectural marvel. Apart from its ancient octagonal stone carvings, this sacred site is famous for a unique spiritual miracle: a 'non-violent sacrifice' ritual. During this ritual, a goat is offered to the deity, falls unconscious through sacred chants and holy water, and is then released completely unharmed and alive.
