Rimi Tomy (born 22 September 1983 in Pala, Kottayam, Kerala) is a beloved Indian playback singer, Carnatic musician, television host, and actress . She began anchoring music shows on TV in 1997 and rose to fame with her playback debut “Chingamasam Vannu Chernnal” in the 2002 film Meesa Madhavan, alongside Shankar Mahadevan Renowned for her versatility, she has sung across genres and languages and recorded hundreds of songs. Rimi has hosted and judged numerous popular TV shows like Onnum Onnum Moonu, Idea Star Singer, Comedy Stars, and currently judges Super 4 She stepped into acting with a role in 5 Sundarikal (2013) and played the lead in Thinkal Muthal Velli Vare (2015), also appearing in special song sequences in films like Balram vs Tharadas, Kaaryasthan, and 916 Born to Tomy Joseph and Rani Tomy, Rimi was married in 2008 and divorced in 2019, residing now in Edapally, Kochi . With her lively stage presence, multifaceted talent, and warm persona, Rimi continues to entertain and inspire across music, television, and film.
