Here I wanna share my story with you.
My name is Rajan Nalwa and Iam from a Small village of Lahoul valley of Himachal Pradesh.
Studied till my primary school at village and middle school was 4 km away from my village so for that we use to go by foot 8 km every day. 4 km morning to school and 4 km walk back home.
Any how parents wanted to give better education so I was shifted to kullu valley with my teen age brother. Where I learnt a lot with fear & responsibility.
Since age of 7-8 I started working at small drama group from my village. Then as time passed I was in 10th grade and I fully loved doing drama shows. Then when I entered to collage I made it my first love and fully dedicated my self for drama shows as an actor, script writer and director worked few years.
No one understood my passion people use to say why I do these ( notankies ). And then force to do any job and settle in life changed different track for me.
Started earning money as a construction labour for my pocket money. Then got small job in a small investment firm and then to hotels and travel business. But never lost my dream to act.
Then one day some one suggested me why not I go to social work field, and I got chance to study at UOfN programs in Mumbai and during my outreach work at kamathipura redlights area and Bycula prison for the teenagers changed my life totally.
I was totally a failure social worker because I was failed to rescue one 13 year old girl call Hajima from brothel of Kamathipura. who was sold to kamathipura brothel along with her mom by her own father just in 5000/- ₹. Three months hard try I was unable to raise 50,000/-₹ and I left Mumbai.
Came back to Manali and got sick with TBM which is known as a brain Tuberculosis. I was in coma for a week I have no memories of those days. After one years medication got life back. From zero I started my journey with a small coffee house by one of my friends seed money which was just ( 1500/-₹ ) first day I made 645/-₹ using empty Cococola case as my serving table and knew only 5-6 things how to make chai, omlate etc, and that day onwards I never looked back.
Last 16 years journey as a coffee business man by the grace of God and love of people got eight National level awards for excellence in my business.
Today people call me Coffee Guru. A man who never tasted coffee till 2004-5 today i teach the skill of secret chemistry of good coffee.
A person who never learned any thing about food and baking today my six pages coffee house menu is my fusion creation food collection.
My chocolate chip cookies became so popular that today all over the word people know about these cookies. From Bollywood to cricket to parliament to normal visitor at cafe all loved it so much that today I have huge numbers of Fan following from all over the globe.
Specially in Israel my fan group organise yearly based event where they invite me and I make my magical cookies and as a storyteller from india I collaborate events with live musicians. Event goes very popular and once even got chance to do a prime time show for Israeli Army Radio ( Galglatz ).
And I got officially invitation as a guest to Yadwashem ( a Holocaust memorial center at Jerusalem)
Even at my Goa out let I got chance to serve breakfast and hosted hundreds of officials and Israeli people with deputy prime minister of Israel.
Here in India I done some of famous food TV shows with Rocky & Mayur , Chef Saransh Goila and few other food coverage shows.
Today several bloggers, You tubers, magazine columnist, tourist Guidebooks talk about Dylan’s coffee house.
Once I got success in my coffee house business I thought to go for a search of Hajima one more time.
Year 2008 my search was failed then I tried once again in year 2015. And this time I got success and met Hajima that time she was 24 year old married lady and mother of a boy.
Her life story challenged me a totally. She is actual real life hero. She saved her self from that brothel by her own will. She run away from these brothels and became child labourer at one of mobile phone charger making factory. Then one kindhearted lady offered her a small job at her beauty parlour and now she is professional beautician.
Year 2016 I started a small project dedicated to Hajima and given the name of Project as (Project Hajima ). Today under this project few kids get benefits I raise funds by selling my own clicked travel pictures and by doing live concerts with the help of other musicians.
Soon my autobiography Book is going to release & documentary film is under production.
A well known publishing company ( &all publishing company ) took my book project thank God today this book is almost ready.
Only looking for the right sponsors. My dream is once my book comes out that sale of my book will provide little bit to these destitute.
If my story will be coved by you or shared with many others it will raise sponsors for my book and project Hajima. Today 28 kids are safely ,respectfully & with dignity living their life happily in pune. These all kids are rescued from Red lights only.
