श्री तुलसीपीठाश्वर जगद्गुरू रामभद्राचार्य महाराज ने संत प्रेमानंद को लेकर बड़ा बयान दिया। उन्होंने कहा कि प्रेमानंद महाराज न तो विद्वान हैं और न ही वह चमत्कारी हैं। इतना ही नहीं उन्होंने यह भी कहा कि वह मेरे सामने संस्कृत बोलकर दिखाएं और मेरे श्लोकों को अर्थ समझा दें। वह तो इस अवस्था में भी मेरे बालक के सामान है। जगद्गुरु रामभद्राचार्य ने एक यूट्यूब चैनल को दिए गए इंटरव्यू में कई मुद्दों पर बात की।

इस दौरान जब उनसे पूछा गया कि सोशल मीडिया में कई लोग ऐसे हैं जो वृंदावन आते हैं और प्रेमानंद जी महाराज के लिए कहते हैं कि वह चमत्कार हैं इस पर जगद्गुरु रामभद्राचार्य ने कहा कि कोई चमत्कार नहीं है, चमत्कार यदि है तो मैं चैलेंज करता हूं प्रेमानंद जी एक अक्षर मेरे सामने संस्कृत बोल कर दिखा दें, बस या मेरे कहे हुए संस्कृत श्लोकों का अर्थ समझा दें। मैं आज खुलकर कह रहा हूं कि उन्होंने कहा कि वो तो मेरे बालक के समान हैं।

यहां तक उन्होंने कहा कि उनकी प्रसिद्धि क्षण भर की है। उनका यह वीडियो सोशल मीडिया पर वायरल हुआ तो वृंदावन के संतों में इस बात को लेकर आक्रोश पैदा हो गया। इसे लेकर वृंदावन के राधानंद गिरी महाराज के आश्रम पर संतों की बैठक हुई। बैठक में दिनेश फलहारी ने कहा कि रामभद्राचार्य बडे़ संत हैं। उन्हें अंहकार की ऐसी भाषा शोभा नहीं देती। उनकी वाणी में अहंकार झलक रहा है। महंत अभीदास और महेंद्र मधुसूदन महाराज ने कहा कि संत प्रेमानंद महाराज ने संतों को जोड़ने का काम किया है। उनके बारे में ऐसा बोला उचिन नहीं है। वहीं दिव्या कुमारी, रामविलास चतुर्वेदी ने उनके बयान की निंदा की।
