BWA Chairperson Dilip Chenoy recently participated in a panel discussion at the Solana Apex Summit in Mumbai on 6 October, titled “India’s Digital Assets Moment: Missed, delayed, or just in time?”

He briefed the participants about the current compliances and guidelines that the sector has to follow alongwith the initiatives and guidelines of BWA on consumer protection, token listing, fair trading, cybersecurity guidelines.

Bharat Web3 Association welcomes the signing of MoU between Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU India) and Department of Telecom to enhance information sharing and coordination to strengthen India's fight against cyber financial crimes.

This MoU is expected to facilitate the development of Standard Operating Procedures for information sharing, enable feedback mechanisms to strengthen fraud detection analytics at the national level, and support the issuance of guidelines and red flag indicators to financial institutions for improved fraud prevention.

Congratulations to Dept of Revenue and Dept of Telecom on this monumental step.
