4. 🧄 ginger/garlic/chilli paste – 1-2 tbsp
5. 🧂 Salt – As per taste
6. 🌶️ Red chili powder – 1 tbsp
7. 🌱 Turmeric powder – ½ tbsp

Ingredients (for ½ kg Squid):

Squid – 400g

Masala Paste:
• Byadagi chili – 8 nos.
• Gundu chili – 7 nos.
• Coriander seeds – ¾ Tbsp
• Cumin seeds – 1 tsp
• Fenugreek seeds – ¼ tsp
• Black peppercorns – ¼ tsp
• Garlic – 7 to 8 nos.
• Tamarind – very small piece
• Turmeric powder – ¼ tsp

For cooking:
• Oil – 1.5 tsp
• Mustard seeds – ½ tsp
• Curry leaves – few sprigs
• Onion – 1 big (or 2 medium)
• Tomato – 1 big
• Salt – to taste
• Roasted grated coconut – ½ (of 1 coconut)
• Coriander leaves – for garnish
