🚨 Police Alert for Goans! 🚨

Goa Police have issued a strong advisory warning residents to be cautious of door-to-door scams. ⚠️

Criminals are reportedly posing as salespersons, workers, or even helpers to gather information about homes before targeting them. 🕵️‍♂️

Recently, a doctor’s house in Mapusa was robbed after a gang conducted a recce posing as visitors.

👮‍♀️ Police urge everyone to:
🔹 Avoid sharing personal or household details with strangers.
🔹 Verify anyone who visits your home for sales or services.
🔹 Report any suspicious activity immediately.

Proud moment for Goa! 🎉
Manovikas English Medium School, Margao has been awarded the ‘GIEN–Purple Inclusive Institution Excellence Award’ for its innovative teaching methods and commitment to inclusive education in Western India.

The award was presented during the International Purple Fest held in Panaji, an initiative by the Global Inclusive Education Network (GIEN), New Delhi.

👏 The recognition celebrates the school’s efforts to empower every learner — regardless of ability — through compassion, creativity, and inclusivity.

🚨 13 Children Rescued from Trafficking Attempt to Goa 🚨

In a shocking incident, thirteen children — including one girl — were rescued from a train in Jharkhand while allegedly being trafficked to Goa for work.

Acting on a tip-off, Railway Protection Force (RPF) personnel boarded the Vasco da Gama Weekly Express at Muri station and kept a close watch on the children until the train reached Ranchi, where they were safely rescued.

The children, aged 12 to 17 years, had boarded the train from Jasidih Junction and were reportedly unaware of their destination or purpose of travel. They have now been handed over to Child Line officials, and a case has been registered with GRP Ranchi.

In a separate operation, three tribal boys from the Asur tribe were also rescued from being trafficked to Agartala. The accused, Jagatpal Oraon, has been arrested and confessed he was paid ₹5,000 to bring the children from Gumla to Ranchi.

🚨 Mapusa Dacoity Case Update 🚨

In a major breakthrough, Mapusa Police have arrested two Bangladeshi nationals, identified as Raju B (27) and Afikul R (37), for their alleged involvement in the Mapusa dacoity case.

According to officials, both accused—residents of Karnataka and natives of Bangladesh—were found to have conspired with six main accused who directly carried out the dacoity. Acting swiftly on strong evidence, police teams tracked them down in Karnataka and arrested them on Monday evening.

💬 Further investigation is underway as police continue to tighten the net around all those connected to the crime.
