Since January 2025, Minas Gerais has prohibited the breeding and entry of dogs of the Pit Bull, Doberman, Fila Brasileiro, and Rottweiler breeds throughout its territory. The new State Law No. 25,165 seeks to control the population of these animals and reinforce security in public areas.
