🎉 SPL Cricket Tournament – Session 2 Concludes Successfully! 🏏

Today marked the grand finale of the SPL Cricket Tournament Session 2, with an exciting final match between Poonch Satllaion and Poonch Sankan Qalander. Congratulations to Poonch Sankan Qalander, the proud champions of SPL Season 2! 🏆

This memorable event was exceptionally organized by the passionate youth of Surankote, led by Sankanderi Memboode, Syed Sajad Kizam, Majadi Shah, Moien Mahans, and Rashd Shah. Their hard work and dedication made this tournament a true celebration of sportsmanship and unity in the Peerpanjal region.

A special thanks goes to all the team owners who made this tournament possible, and to the players from across Peerpanjal who participated with full spirit and talent.

We are deeply grateful to the Department of Youth Services and Sports and its dedicated officials for their support and for officiating the tournament with excellence. Thanks also to the Sports Council Unit Poonch for providing the ground and necessary infrastructure.

Our sincere appreciation to the District Administration, Police Department, and the Indian Army for ensuring security and support throughout the event.

To all our sponsors – thank you for standing behind this cause and making it possible to host such a large-scale event.

A heartfelt thank you to all the guests, chief guest, guest of honour, and the amazing crowd of Surankote for joining us and cheering passionately throughout the matches.

Special recognition to Mr. Khan Raj for broadcasting the final live, and to Will Stiode for covering all the tournament matches. Also, thanks to the dedicated umpires, scorers, commentators, and the entire management team for their efforts.

The final match was hosted by Mr. Pervaiz Malik Afridi (NIS Cricket Coach and Physical Education Teacher), adding great professionalism to the day.

Shout-out to our emerging youth leaders Mr. Hayat Ch and Mr. Owise Bukhari for their inspiring presence.

This has truly been one of the best tournaments in the history of Surankote, marked by high spirit, community involvement, and love for the game.

*Proud Moment for Rahul Dravid Cricket Club Poonch*

Asma Kouser a trainee of Rahul Dravid Cricket Club Poonch has been shortlisted after successfully completing the Talent Hunt Trials, Fitness Camp, and Deep Selection Camp for the JKCA U-19 Women's team held in Jammu and Srinagar regions.

JKCA has organized a pre-season U-19 Women’s Camp for the shortlisted players at Sher-e-Kashmir Stadium Srinagar which will be held from *12th July to 20th July.*

This is a proud moment not only for *District Poonch* but also for the *Rahul Dravid Cricket Club Poonch.*
Asma’s selection is a result of her dedication and hard work as well as the tireless efforts of the coaching team especially *Mr. Pervaiz Malik Afridi* Chairman of Rahul Dravid Cricket Club Poonch And Coach Syed Talit waseem and Er karman khan whose mentorship played a key role in her achievement.
