I've always loved to cook because to me, it's one of the simplest and most heartfelt ways to express love. Today's lunch was prepared just the way my husband requested—rice, red amaranthus masiyal, drumstick kuzhambu, taro root fry, papad, and curd. Weekend lunches hold a special place in my heart, as they're one of the few times we can all slow down, gather around the same table, and enjoy a meal without the rush of everyday life. Watching my family relish every bite reminds me that homemaking isn't just about preparing food; it's about creating moments of warmth, togetherness, and memories that quietly become the most cherished ones.🥰😊

Feeling under the weather, I choose comfort over complexity—curd rice with beans & carrot poriyal, and makhana for the short break.

The Mumbai monsoon has truly taken over the city. 🌧️ Every morning begins with a look out the window, wondering how heavy the rain will be today. Last week, the downpour even brought school holidays, and with the showers still continuing, there's always a thought in the back of our minds—will tomorrow be another holiday? 😊

For today, the school routine is on, and so is my lunch box journey. Today's lunch box is packed with wholesome Moringa Khichdi, flavourful Peri Peri Paneer Fry, and a Chilli Cheese Sandwich for the short break. No matter what the weather brings, a homemade lunch is one little way of sending warmth, comfort, and love to school.
