Today, as we announce the winners of our very first edition of The Art and Design Award, we are overwhelmed with emotions. This journey began with a dream, a dream to provide a platform for emerging talents in the world of creativity.
This Art and Design Award 2023 has been a testament to the incredible talent that exists in India. We have witnessed the graduation collections and projects of these young artists, and it has been nothing short of breathtaking. Each creation was a masterpiece, a labor of love, and a showcase of boundless imagination.
We want to extend our heartfelt thanks to all the participating students who poured their hearts and souls into their work. Mr. Anand C. Shende, an esteemed artist and faculty member at the College of Arts in Chandigarh, recently enchanted art enthusiasts at Mumbai's renowned Jehangir Art Gallery. His exhibit, part of the "QUAD - A Group Show Of Paintings and Sculpture," whisked viewers away on a nostalgic journey into his childhood. Using the Water Colour Wash Technique inspired by his colleague Mr. Pankaj Saroj, Shende encapsulated the simplicity and innocence of his youth. Paper planes, boats, fish, water, birds, clouds, and flowers infused his works with wonder and nostalgia, captivating critics and fellow artists.
