BREAKING: Residents of Shahunagar in Dharavi, Mumbai, are facing severe water shortages after holes were allegedly drilled into the main water supply pipeline by workers linked to the Adani Group.

Local accounts claim the incident was deliberate, aimed at causing distress amid ongoing tensions over the massive Dharavi Redevelopment Project. Videos circulating on social media show the pipeline being tampered with, leading to major disruption in the area.

Dharavi, Asia’s largest slum, is undergoing a high-stakes redevelopment led by the Adani Group in partnership with the Maharashtra government.

While the project promises modern housing and infrastructure, it has faced strong opposition from residents concerned about displacement, transparency, and the handling of essential services like water supply.

Authorities have not yet issued an official statement on this specific incident. Residents are demanding immediate repairs and an investigation.

Tragic Road Accident in Mumbai

A fatal chain collision early this morning claimed the life of a 50-year-old car driver after a BEST bus on Route 440 reportedly struck a parked car near Pushpa Park in Borivali (Malad area), triggering a series of impacts.

The incident, which occurred on the Western Express Highway, highlights the growing concerns over road safety, speeding, and parking violations in one of Mumbai’s busiest corridors.

According to initial reports, the driver of the car lost his life in the crash. Mumbai Traffic Police have been alerted, and an investigation is underway to determine the exact sequence of events and cause of the accident.

Our thoughts and prayers are with the family of the deceased. May his soul rest in peace.

Road safety is everyone’s responsibility. Let’s drive responsibly, avoid rash driving, and never park in no-parking or high-risk zones. Blind spots and heavy traffic demand extra caution.

This girl booked an Uber in Mumbai. She needed to go from Mahalaxmi to Nerul. The fare came to ₹501. The girl paid the full amount online.

After the ride ended, the driver demanded ₹40 in cash. He said he’d paid the toll. The girl refused because she’d already paid the money.
The girl says that upon hearing this, the driver locked the car. When she started to get out, the driver came from behind and stood very close. The girl got scared and pushed him away.

After that, the driver slapped her. He twisted her arm and said, “Should I hit you again?”

The girl started crying. She called the office staff. The police arrived. An NC was registered.

After she filed the complaint, Uber had blocked her account. Later, the account was reactivated, but the driver is still on the platform.

Tell me, how do some drivers mistreat women just because they don’t get a tip?

In such cases, cab apps should take responsibility for women’s safety so that women can feel secure..!
