✨ 196th Salgreh of Seth Hormasji Bomanjee Wadiaji Atash Behram ✨

Today, our community marks the 196th Salgreh of the Seth Hormasji Bomanjee Wadiaji Atash Behram, Mumbai.

Established in 1829, this Atash Behram is the oldest continuously burning sacred fire in Mumbai, and a beacon of faith for generations of Zoroastrians. Through nearly two centuries, it has stood as a sanctuary for prayer, continuity, and strength, carrying forward the devotion of our forebears into the present day.

On this auspicious occasion, a Morning Jashan will be performed at 10:00 a.m. and an Evening Jashan at 5:00 p.m., both under the guidance of Vada Dasturji Saheb Dr. Firoze M. Kotwal, High Priest of the Atash Behram.

As we celebrate this milestone, let us remember the vision and faith of Seth Hormasji Bomanjee Wadiaji, and seek the blessings of Padshah Saheb for health, harmony, and prosperity in our lives.

May this Salgreh inspire us to live more fully by our timeless values of good thoughts, good words, and good deeds.

May Gatha Vahishtoisht forgive us for all our bad thoughts, bad words, and bad deeds during the year. Patet Pashemani to all my family and friends. May Dadar Ahura Mazda guide us towards nek Manashni, nek Gavashni, and nek Kunashni in coming years.
As we step into the last day of the Zoroastrian Calendar,
I pray that all the dark and ugly deeds, troubles, and thoughts stay in the past, and may the new year bring in good thoughts, which leads to good words and good deeds.
May all your troubles stay in the past and here's hoping that the new year brings a lot of good health, luck, success, wealth and most important .......... peace of mind and contentment of the heart.
