Life of Pi is an adventure-drama film by Ang Lee. Based on the novel by Yann Martel, the story revolves around two survivors of a shipwreck, a sixteen-year-old Indian boy and a ferocious Bengal tiger, who are on a lifeboat stranded in the Pacific Ocean for 227 days.

The film received tremendous love from critics and fans and went on to receive 11 Oscar nomination (winning 4).

This endearing film is about teenagers of Korean descent who were born and raised in other countries like Mexico, Germany and the UK and how the diverse and unruly teens travel to Seoul in 1986 to get in touch with their cultural heritage in this wholesome comedy-drama.

Right from being the first ever Korean girl group to enter and top the Billboard’s Emerging Artists charts and breaking Guinness records with their releases, Blackpink has garnered a really strong fan base over the years and is the most successful Korean girl group internationally and have often been dubbed the "biggest girl group in the world.”

From being the most followed girl-group on Spotify, to partnering with several western artists like Selena Gomez and Dua Lipa, and having a Netflix original documentary about them, has established their prowess in the domain of music and have also been acknowledged as one of the most powerful celebrities in South Korea by Forbes Korea.

What’s a list of Asian films without some classic martial arts flicks? And what better way to kick it off, than with IP Man, the biographical film series is made on the life of the real martial artist and grandmaster of the martial art form called Wing Chun, whose students included Bruce Lee.

The 1st film follows the story of Japan's invasion of China and how that disrupts the families who are displaced in the process. With the town descending into chaos the story tracks IP man’s journey to fight for what is right and his struggle to survive.

From being the first Indian American to have her own network show to being nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award for ‘Outstanding Writing’ in a ‘Comedy Series’ and five times for ‘Outstanding Comedy Series’ for her contributions to NBC’s sitcom ‘The Office’. She has also been identified as one of the "50 Coolest and Most Creative Entertainers" in Hollywood by Entertainment Weekly. And over the years Kaling continues to help break down the barriers of entry for Indian voices to the global stage as a producer, creating opportunities for south-Asians through her projects.

Okja is a sweet story of a young girl Mija who is raised with a genetically modified super-pig (Okja) who is one of 26 specimens/experiments by a corporation. After 10 years together the corporations are happy with their experiment and now want their super pig back and that’s when the adventure begins for Mija who is now on a quest to rescue Okja and keep her away from the clutches of the meat industry.

Only B**g Joon Ho could make a cute film about a small Korean girl and her unusual/fantastical pet, and turn it into a political statement about animal rights, ethics and corporate greed. The film also features Tilda Swinton and Jake Gyllenhaal at their villainous best.
