When threads cross continents, history begins to remember.

Textile Matters: Woven Stories Between India and France, a landmark exhibition at Mobilier National , Paris, tracing nearly four centuries of artistic and textile exchange between the two countries. From Bengal muslins and Indian chintz that transformed French fashion and interiors, to brocades, lace and contemporary fibre art, the exhibition revealed how textiles have long been a shared language of heritage, craftsmanship and alchemy.

With Mayank Mansingh Kaul as curatorial advisor and Christian Louboutin as artistic director, the exhibition unfolds across seven monumental sections, celebrating the hands, histories and artistic voices that continue to shape textile culture today, including works of Kunaal Kyhaan Seolekar , Gaurav Gupta , Raw Mango , Nipa Doshi , Devi Art Foundation , Chanakya School of Craft .school, and creators and artisans from both India and France.

Here, fabric becomes memory. Technique becomes storytelling. Craft becomes a connection, creating a living bridge between past and future, between Paris and the Indian subcontinent.

At Mobilier National, Paris
From 4 December 2025 - 4 January 2026

With support from Institut français , Sutrakala Foundation , le19M , and the artisans and ateliers who carry this cultural dialogue forward.

The Gourmet Experiences at ID Mumbai 2025 quickly emerged as one of the fair’s most sought-after destinations, where Mumbai’s leading culinary voices shaped a menu that invited guests to savour, pause, and explore. An assemblage of the city’s finest restaurants, bars, and cafés, the space transformed dining into a design-led journey, and every plate became an extension of craft, intention, and flavour.

Along the main walkway, monumental installations by Kunal Maniar & Associates and Alex Davis Studio created sculptural interludes that merged landscape, art, and materiality. Alex Davis’ Amaltas rendered the Laburnum’s golden cascade in a sweeping, luminous form—an homage to New Delhi’s sunlit avenues. In contrast, Kunaal Maniar’s Rock Lamp and Pyrite Lamp elevated granite, pyrite, and raw earth into collectible objects that celebrated our elemental connection to nature.
