This is not okay.
A couple from Kanpur.
Got married in February.
Went to Pahalgam for their honeymoon.
Terrorists stopped them.
Asked the husband his name.
Told him to recite the Kalma.
He didn’t say anything.
Maybe he was scared. Maybe he froze.
They shot him.
Right in front of his wife.
And then they told her—
“Go tell your government we did this.”
She had gone there for memories.
She came back with trauma she’ll carry for life.
This is not just terrorism.
This is hate.
Pure, targeted, and brutal.
As a common man, I’m scared.
If this can happen to an innocent tourist, what does that say about our safety?
About our country?
Where is the humanity?
Where is the justice?
This can’t be just another headline we forget tomorrow.
This needs action. Fast.
Because next time, it could be any of us. Any of our loved ones.
Enough is enough.
