Aarambh – An Initiation to Music 🎶

On 31st May 2026, Shadaj Graam Foundation and Tanay Rege presented a thematic baithak at Madam Cama Hall, Swatantryaveer Savarkar Smarak, Dadar, Mumbai.

The evening began with inspiring tabla solo presentations by the disciples of Tanay Rege, reflecting our commitment to nurturing the next generation of musicians. This was followed by a captivating Tabla Solo in Teentaal by and then a soulful vocal recital by , featuring Raag Shuddha Sarang and a Kabir Bhajan. All performances were accompanied by on harmonium.

Graced by the presence of respected Guru Shri Pravin Karkare and artist friends - colleagues Swapnil Bhise, Vinay Mundhe, Sharvari Vaidya, Ganesh Murali Iyer, Advait Rajadhyaksh and Riddhi Atre, the baithak beautifully celebrated the spirit of learning, tradition and artistic beginnings.

There are scores of old age homes tucked away far from city limits housing music lovers unable to attend concerts due to physical, financial or logistical constraints.

Then there are upcoming artists in cities facing challenges in an extremely competitive ecosystem and those who have passed their prime for whom opportunities dry up.

We decided to act as facilitators and take concerts to the interiors where the elderly audience can encourage and appreciate artists who otherwise would have found it difficult to showcase their talent.

UniqSoch has teamed up with Shadaj Graam Foundation to gift Maze Ghar old age home a classical music concert on the 9th of November at 4:30 pm.
