যারা ঈদে বাড়ি ফিরছেন। টিকিট পাচ্ছেন না। ভারতীয় রেল দপ্তর বিশেষ ট্রেনের ব্যবস্থা করেছেন। প্রতিদিন রাত 8:55 সময়ে হাওড়া স্টেশন থেকে এক্সপ্রেস ট্রেন চলবে 31 মে থেকে 6 ই জুন পর্যন্ত। স্টোপিজ, আজিমগঞ্জ, আজিমগঞ্জ সিটি,জঙ্গিপুর, নিমতিতা, ফারাক্কা, মালদা।

Subject: Request for Modification in EMU Train Schedule and 30-Minute Halt at Krishnanagar City Junction

Respected Sir/Madam,

I am writing to express my concern as a daily commuter on the Lalgola–Sealdah route regarding the recent change in the train schedule effective from 04/06/2024. As per the notification, the MEMU/EMU train now halts at Krishnanagar City Junction for 30 minutes to allow passengers access to toilet facilities.

While we understand the importance of basic amenities during travel, the current arrangement is causing significant inconvenience to regular passengers, especially office-goers. The extended halt of 30 minutes has led to an increase in overall journey time, which is counterproductive in today’s age where efforts are being made to reduce travel time and improve efficiency.

Additionally, Krishnanagar station lacks adequate toilet facilities, and a sudden influx of passengers using them during the halt period leads to overcrowding and hygiene concerns.

Earlier, I used to take a train 30 minutes earlier and reach my destination on time. Now, due to the new schedule, even after taking an earlier train, I reach at the same time as before. Similarly, while returning home, I reach 30 minutes later than usual, which affects my personal schedule.

This issue is affecting many daily passengers like me. Therefore, I humbly request the Eastern Railway to reconsider and modify this arrangement. A shorter halt or improved onboard toilet facilities would be a better solution rather than prolonging the journey unnecessarily.

We request your kind attention to this matter and hope for a swift resolution.

একদিকে কর্নেল সোফিয়া কুরেশি অন্যদিকে উইং কমান্ডার ভূমিকা সিং। আজ ভারতীয় আর্মির হয়ে সাংবাদিক সম্মেলন করে পাকিস্তানের কোথায় কিভাবে জঙ্গি ঘাটে আক্রমণ করা হয়েছে তার বিস্তারিত বিবরণ দিচ্ছে। এটাই ভারত বর্ষ। 🇮🇳 জাতি ধর্ম বর্ণ নির্বিশেষে ভারতের দুশমনদের এভাবেই ধ্বংস করতে হবে। ✊
