Steam Traction World started in 2008, during that time and its demise in 2026, the company manufactured around 1500 engines, a legacy that will truly live on for many. For now I’m going to use this page (as it’s mine) to remember the good times….so here’s one of the original owners Steve Baldock with his Foster Hornsby. An engine he built from scratch taking 12 years and 12,000 hours, using work drawings and his own creative genius to produce what many model engineers consider one of the best miniatures engines ever produced. A genius of a guy missed by many!
