Panyor River Flooding Causes Mass Fish Death in Keyi Panyor District

Keyi Panyor District, Mengio Circle – 13 August 2025:
Continuous heavy rainfall has caused the Panyor River to overflow, leading to severe flooding in the region. A large number of fish deaths have been reported as a result of the sudden rise in water levels and deteriorating water quality.

On the eve of the 79th Independence Day celebration (2025), the All Arunachal Pradesh Scrap (Kabari) Collection Welfare Association (AAPSKCWA) successfully organized its first-ever Social Service-cum-Plantation Program at the Mental Hospital, Midpu, under Yupia Circle.

The program was held on 13th August 2025 under the leadership of Shri Yamra Elia(Chairman, AAPSKCWA) and Shri Nangram Bai, General Secretary (AAPSKCWA), with Shri Baath Saha serving as Organizing Chairman and Miss Bengia Mama as Co-Chairperson.

All Central Executive Members actively participated in the event with the support of Kabari Vendors, ensuring its successful completion.

ITANAGAR | AUGUST 5, 2025:
The Arunachal Amateur Boxing Association (AABA), under the aegis of the Boxing Federation of India, is all set to host the 5th Arunachal State Open Inter-Club Boxing Championship 2025.

The event will take place from August 7 to 10, 2025, at the Sangay Lhaden Sports Academy (SLSA), Chimpu, Itanagar.

This four-day championship aims to bring together young boxing talents from across Arunachal Pradesh. The tournament will showcase strength, discipline, and sportsmanship as young athletes step into the ring to compete for state-level glory.

The organisers have extended an open invitation to all sports enthusiasts, youth, and well-wishers of Arunachal to attend the event and support the young boxers.

Entry to the event is free, and the public is encouraged to attend in large numbers to motivate the participants and promote a sporting culture in the region.

Arunachal Amateur Boxing Association (AABA) T-Shirt Launching Ceremony Held at Lower Chimpu

Itanagar, 2nd August 2025 —
The Arunachal Amateur Boxing Association (AABA) successfully hosted the T-Shirt Launching Ceremony of the upcoming 5th Arunachal State Open Inter-Club Boxing Championship - 2025 at the Lamnio Volleyball Court, Lower Chimpu, Itanagar, Papum Pare district.

The program was conducted under the dynamic leadership of Shri Dare Radhe Yangda, Organising Chairman, and Shri Thomas Lamnio, Organising Secretary of the Championship.
