The Indian Army contingent, comprising an all-arms team led by a battalion of the Jammu and Kashmir Rifles, and the French Army’s 13^e Foreign Legion Half-Brigade(13e DBLE), are undertaking a wide array of mission-focused drills aimed at sub-conventional operations. The synergy during live firing and tactical manoeuvres reflected the high standards of operational readiness and combat proficiency of both forces.

Specialist teams also participated in dedicated Electronic Warfare (EW) modules, alongside their French counterparts to enhance electromagnetic dominance and secure communications. In response to modern aerial threats, both sides jointly trained on Counter-Unmanned Aerial System (C-UAS) technology, including live demonstrations of cutting-edge platforms capable of neutralising rogue drones in operational settings.

ll The All Kamle District Students’ Union (AKDSU) has categorically rejected the public perception that the Kamle Employees’ Welfare Association (KEWA) is the parent organisation of the student body.

AKDSU affirmed that the All Arunachal Pradesh Students’ Union (AAPSU) is the only recognised apex parent body of the union.
AKDSU General Secretary Yom Rajen Thomas Dui stated that while they respect KEWA as an independent organisation comprising intellectuals, officials, and elders, they recognise AAPSU as their parent body.

In response to KEWA’s statement, as stated in its meeting minutes, AKDSU issued a seven-day ultimatum demanding clarification and a formal apology. The minutes in question alleged that AKDSU had insulted one of KEWA’s senior-most members by returning a donation made towards the AKDSU Foundation Day celebration.

KEWA interpreted the return of the donation as a sign of disrespect towards the generosity of its members and decided to partially boycott the current AKDSU team. It also directed its members to refrain from making further donations. The minutes further stated that if any KEWA member wished to contribute, the amount should not exceed ₹5,000.

However, despite 14 days having passed, the AKDSU General Secretary noted that KEWA has not issued any response.

In light of the matter, a joint meeting involving AKDSU, AAPSU, and DSU was convened to discuss KEWA’s statement. It was unanimously decided that their collective demands would soon be made public through the media.

Commenting on the issue, an AAPSU co-convener remarked, “Never in my student life have I seen an employees' association boycotting a student body in this manner.” He added that AAPSU would soon visit Kamle district and submit a memorandum to the Deputy Commissioner outlining their demands.
