Studies have shown that Gen Z makes up a higher percentage of the gig and freelance economies than other generations. They entered the workforce in a major downward spiral, which made finding traditional jobs even more difficult. For every member of Gen Z who wants a job with more flexibility and autonomy, there’s someone who wants way more job stability than what they have now.

ChatGPT adds 1 million users in one hour after adding new AI feature

ChatGPT is experiencing record growth after releasing a new AI image generation feature, according to OpenAI boss Sam Altman.

The AI assistant has been adding 1 million new users an hour amid “biblical demand” for its GPT-4o, which is now available for free users of the app.

“The ChatGPT launch 26 months ago was one of the craziest viral moments I’d ever seen, and we added one million users in five days,” Mr Altman wrote on X on Monday. “We added one million users in the last hour.”

Do you hate Elon Musk? If you do, you’re certainly not alone. Musk has become the poster boy for resentment among opponents of the Trump administration.

Yet some wonder: Why all the hate?

Few people would deny that Musk is one of the most brilliant humans — let alone Americans — ever to walk the earth. His companies are preparing to send people to Mars, rescuing astronauts from space, building electric vehicles, solving neurological diseases with computer chips, developing robots and advanced technology, linking cities together and (admit it) providing a free speech forum with all the expected vitriol.
