अहमदाबाद में एअर इंडिया फ्लाइट AI-171 हादसे के एक दिन बाद शुक्रवार को एयरक्राफ्ट एक्सीडेंट इन्वेस्टिगेशन ब्यूरो (AAIB) ने ब्लैक बॉक्स को खोज लिया है। यह हॉस्टल की छत पर मिला। इसके जरिए पता चल सकेगा कि क्रैश होने के पहले आखिरी पलों में क्या हुआ था।

एअर इंडिया की फ्लाइट में 12 क्रू मेंबर समेत 242 लोग मौजूद थे। इसमें से एक यात्री की जान बच गई। मरने वालों में राजस्थान से 13, एमपी, हरियाणा और बिहार के एक-एक लोग शामिल हैं। उधर, पूर्व सीएम रूपाणी के शव की पहचान भी अब तक नहीं हो पाई है। मृतकों की पहचान के लिए उनके परिजन के DNA टेस्ट लिए जा रहे हैं।

रेक्स्यू टीम ने 270 लोगों के शव बरामद कर लिए हैं। इनमें से 7 की बॉडी को DNA टेस्ट के बाद परिजन को सौंप दी गई है। 241 मृतक विमान में सवार पैसेंजर्स और क्रू मेंबर्स थे। 5 मृतक उस बीजे मेडिकल कॉलेज हॉस्टल के हैं, जहां प्लेन क्रैश हुआ था। हादसे के वक्त हॉस्टल में 50 से ज्यादा लोग मौजूद थे।

अहमदाबाद में हुए प्लेन हादसे में जिंदा बचे इकलौते यात्री रमेश विश्वास कुमार से PM मोदी ने शुक्रवार को मुलाकात की। रमेश हादसे में घायल हैं और सिविल अस्पताल में भर्ती हैं।

रमेश ने DD न्यूज से बातचीत में कहा, PM ने उनका हालचाल जाना और पूछा कि हादसा कैसे हुआ। रमेश प्लेन की 11A सीट पर बैठे थे। हादसे के बाद वे घटनास्थल से खुद बाहर निकले।

रमेश ने कहा, 'मुझे विश्वास नहीं होता कि मैं कैसे जिंदा बाहर निकला।' उन्होंने बताया कि विमान जैसे ही गिरा, उनकी तरफ का दरवाजा टूटकर अलग हो गया। तभी वे अपनी सीटबेल्ट खोलकर बाहर भाग आए।

Students were taking their lunch when the Air India flight was crashed into the medical hostel.

Earlier today, an Air India plane crashed moments after take-off in Ahmedabad.
Here’s what we know so far:
The plane – a Boeing 787-8 Dreamliner carrying 242 people – crashed in a residential area near the airport, hitting a doctors’ hostel
There were 169 Indian nationals, 53 Britons, seven Portuguese nationals and one Canadian on the flight, according to Air India
Footage shows the moment the plane crashed, and the explosion as it hit the ground
Some 204 bodies have been recovered from the crash site, the Ahmedabad police chief says, and at least 50 medical students are in hospital
Boeing says its thoughts are with all those affected, and it is in contact with Air India regarding the incident
Tributes have come from world leaders, including King Charles who says he is “desperately shocked” by the crash
