3/6.....Why to Meditate?
🍀If you are directly here on the 3rd phase of Meditation. Please check by earlier post on other 2 phase of Meditation.
After compassion and Gratitude 3rd phase is Forgiveness.
Granting forgiveness is more rewarding to you than the person you forgive.
✈️Remember, it is not excusing one's past behavior or actions, rather, it is a process which allows you to empower and thus free yourself of any burden or grudge weighing you down.
🍀You make yourself rather than someone else responsible for your past. Forgiveness frees you.
👉Instructions for the Forgiveness Meditation:
1. Pick something easy.
2. See this person in front of you.
3. Feel the pain they caused you for 30 seconds.
4. Ask yourself: why did they do what they did?
5. Think about what you could gain from this experience.
6. Forgive into love.
7. To forgive yourself: see the younger version of yourself and apply the same technique.
