South Delhi is going electric for waste collection!

Renvion has begun integrated waste collection and transportation operations across 23 wards covering nearly 190 sq. km.

The project brings 776 electric collection vehicles onto the streets — including 550 electric four-wheelers and 226 electric three-wheelers — making it Delhi’s first large-scale zero-emission waste collection fleet.

The technology-enabled system will manage 1,400+ tonnes of waste every day, backed by GPS, RFID and real-time monitoring.

With 2,000+ jobs also expected to be created, the initiative combines cleaner mobility, technology and employment to strengthen South Delhi’s waste management infrastructure. 🌱🚛
