1/2 tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
Fresh coriander for garnish
Cooking Instructions
Heat butter on a tawa or pan.

1. Plain Idli

Ingredients:

β€’ 1 cup urad dal
β€’ Water as needed
β€’ Salt to taste

Cooking Instructions:
1. Wash and soak idli rice and urad dal separately for 4–6 hours.
2. Grind urad dal into a smooth fluffy batter.
3. Grind rice slightly coarse and mix with urad batter.
4. Add salt and ferment overnight or for 8 hours.
5. Grease idli plates and pour the batter.
6. Steam for 10–12 minutes.
7. Serve hot with coconut chutney and sambar.

1. Roast rava lightly for 2–3 minutes.

5. Pour batter into greased idli plates.
6. Steam for 10 minutes.
7. Prepare tempering with mustard seeds, curry leaves, and green chilli.
8. Pour tempering over idlis and serve hot.

2. Pour one ladle of dosa batter and spread in a circular motion.
3. Drizzle little oil around the edges.
4. Cook until golden and crispy.
5. Fold and serve hot with coconut chutney and sambar.
