Some places you visit for the food. Some for the vibe. Morgan Brew in Ulwe somehow gives you both, and then throws in a PS5 for good measure.

We came for a quick bite and ended up staying way longer than planned. The Farmhouse Pizza and that Double Decker Burger did most of the convincing, but honestly the Peri Peri Cheese Nachos deserve their own fan club. Wash it all down with a Cold Coffee or the Chocolate Banana Shake and you are set.

The interiors keep things simple, but the gaming room is where your afternoon quietly disappears. Round up your friends, play a few rounds, order another shake, repeat.

And this Sunday it gets even better. Morgan Brew is hosting a Karaoke Night for Friendship Day. So bring your gang, pick your song, and make some noise.

As part of the ‘Janseva Saptah’ (Public Service Week) organized on the birth anniversary of Late Ajitdada Pawar, a grand event offering free eye check-ups, free blood tests, free cataract surgeries, and a mega blood donation camp was enthusiastically inaugurated today at the Primary Health Centre, Gavhan. The drive will take place from July 25 to July 27, 2026.

Key dignitaries present at the event included Mr. Santosh Kate (Ulwe City President), Mr. Balasaheb Borkar (Maharashtra State General Secretary), Mr. Bharat Nikalje (Vice President), Mr. Abdul Mannan Deshmukh (Minority Cell President, Ulwe), Mr. Mushtaq Bhatkar (Vice President, Ulwe), Mr. Udaybhan Patel (General Secretary), Mr. Ramesh Pawar, Mr. Siddharth Manavar, and Mr. Iliyas Kandekari.

The inauguration was also graced by Dr. Asmita Bombatkar (Medical Officer), Dr. Achala Patil (Medical Officer), Dr. Varsha Deshmane (Ophthalmologist), Dr. Dakshina Kabadi (Ophthalmologist), alongside the officers and entire staff of the Primary Health Centre.

The organizers appealed to all citizens to participate in large numbers and take full advantage of the free healthcare services being provided during this Public Service Week.

When residents planned the Morcha, officials first called the leaders and requested them to stand down, initially refusing permission for the march. But the people held firm, and the protest went ahead.

At the meeting, CIDCO’s executive officers cited low water pressure as the reason for the shortfall, and assured residents that regular water supply would resume. For now, that promise remains under observation and the community is watching closely.

Clean, regular water is not a luxury. It’s a basic right. 🚰

IMPORTANT PUBLIC NOTICE: Help Identify a Child’s Bicycle Following an Accident in Ulwe

An accident involving a heavy goods truck (MH04 FJ6875) was reported near the Jio Institute area in Ulwe.

According to local updates circulating on WhatsApp, a young child involved in the mishap has been rushed to Apollo Hospital for medical attention. Members of the public are requested to help identify the bicycle involved in the accident to assist authorities in contacting the child’s family.

If you recognize the vehicle or have any information about the child’s guardians, please immediately contact the nearest police station.

Residents of Ulwe are urged to share this post in local community groups to help spread the word and reach the family quickly.

This is absolutely unacceptable. 🛑

Residents of Ulwe are currently facing a severe public health hazard right inside their own homes.

As seen in the shocking video above, residents are pulling live earthworms out of their showerheads (incident reported at Plot 364, Sector 24, near Hanuman Mandir).

Furthermore, as clearly documented in ⁠image.png⁠ and ⁠image_2.png⁠, the taps in Sector 18 have been dispensing heavily contaminated, muddy, yellow water for the past 5 days.

This foul-smelling water is completely unpotable and is rapidly clogging up normal RO purifiers, leaving families without safe drinking water and at a high risk for waterborne diseases.

⚠️ WE NEED MASS ESCALATION. ⚠️

We are urgently calling out CIDCO to take immediate action. Authorities must:
Flush the local distribution lines immediately.
Inspect pipelines for severe siltation or underground leaks.
Access to clean, safe water is a basic human right, not a luxury.

Zepto delivery partners from the Sector 17 store have entered the 4th day of their strike, protesting severe pay cuts and grueling working conditions.

According to the riders, their base pay was abruptly reduced. Despite promises of a pay hike from management two weeks ago, no changes have been implemented. Many claim they are working grueling 16-hour shifts to make just ₹1,000 a day. To bypass the local strike, the company is reportedly bringing in riders from the Sector 2 store to fulfill orders.

The riders are appealing to the public for support, stating they only want their rightful earnings, nothing more.
