Ladakh Crisis 2025: Why Protests Turned Violent | Statehood, Sixth Schedule

Sonam Wangchuk is a renowned Indian educator, engineer, and researcher who has been working tirelessly for decades on education reform, infrastructure, and the climate crisis. His goals are to improve the government education system in the Himalayan region of Ladakh, ensure that climate change policies do not harm local people's lives or the natural environment, and provide better opportunities for local youth.

He has been on a hunger strike for the past few years demanding statehood for Ladakh and inclusion in the Sixth Schedule of the Constitution. Despite several rounds of talks with the central government on these issues, no consensus has yet been reached.

Nepal Crisis 2025: “Gen Z”, Corruption and PM Oli Resigns Amid Chaos | Abhijit Sagar

In Nepal, the youth took to the streets for massive protests against the current government and their demands were not new, the citizens there have been constantly raising their voice against corruption, nepotism, irresponsible and incompetent leadership. But they had to pay a heavy price for raising their voice against the government.

The Alaska meeting between the US and Russia has raised a lot of hope among the people of Russia and Ukraine and is being considered a better option to end the war.

In this initiative, We should always look towards the American President who is continuously trying to end this war and he also believes that whatever agreements, negotiations and territorial Swaps are to be done, that should happen as soon as possible because this war is taking the lives of innocent and brave soldiers which we do not like at all.

During the US presidential election campaign itself, the President had expressed his commitment that he does not want any kind of war at all and those who support such a war will have to face severe consequences during our presidential tenure.
