🌊✨ Welcoming ✨🌊
Author of Into the Deep Blue

Today, we are honored to welcome Jennifer E. Archer, a luminous new voice in fiction, as she sets sail with her debut novel, Into the Deep Blue.
💁‍♀️
In this evocative tale, the sea is more than water — it is memory, mystery, and the mirror of the human heart. With lyrical prose and profound tenderness, Jennifer invites us to plunge into depths where grief ebbs, hope flows, and self-discovery glimmers like sunlight on waves.
💁‍♀️
Into the Deep Blue is not merely a novel — it’s a journey through tides of love, loss, and longing. A quiet storm of emotion. A call to listen to what lies beneath the surface — of the sea, and of ourselves.
💁‍♀️
Let us welcome Jennifer with open hearts, and allow her words to wash over us like the first morning tide.

📜✨ Why is August called August?
Swipe back into Roman history 📖

Originally, August was called "Sextilis" — the sixth month in the Roman calendar.

But everything changed in 8 BCE when the Roman Senate renamed it to "Augustus", in honor of Emperor Augustus Caesar — Julius Caesar’s successor and Rome’s first emperor.

Why him?
✔️ He defeated Cleopatra and Mark Antony
✔️ He became consul for the first time in this month
✔️ And he just happened to love how powerful the name sounded 😌

👑 "Augustus" meant majestic, venerable: a man worthy of awe.

And so, Sextilis became August — a name drenched in power, legacy, and imperial pride.
😇🌸
