Ucchhad, a Marathi translation of Yasmina Reza’s 2009 Tony Award-winning celebrated French play God of Carnage!

This adaptation sets the play in an urban India, where the boundaries of social prejudices such as gender, class and caste are casually visible. The play is full of subtle humour that plays on social rituals and the need to keep up appearances. It is produced by Rakhadi Studio and is directed by Anupam Barve featuring Sayalee Phatak, Siddhesh Dhuri, Tanvi Kulkarni and Niranjan Pedanekar as the on stage characters.
