HTK+: ₹17.99 lakh
HTX: ₹20.49 lakh

JSW MG Motor India has launched the MG M9 at an introductory price of ₹69.90 lakh (ex-showroom). A luxurious electric MPV, it will be available exclusively at MG Select showrooms, MG’s luxury brand channel.

It features:

⚡ Presidential seats with 16-way adjustment, eight massage settings, ventilation, and heating; controlled by a Intelligent Arm Rest

⚡ 5-star EURO NCAP and ANCAP safety rating

⚡ 90-kWh battery with a claimed range of 548 km and a lifetime warranty for the first owner

⚡ A motor that produces 245 hp and 350 Nm

⚡ Vehicle warranty of three years/unlimited km

⚡ A 11-kW wall box charger with standard installation and a 3.3-kW portable charger

⚡ A choice of Pearl Lustre White, Metal Black or Concrete Grey

Jeep have launched exclusive Trail editions of the Compass and Meridian in India. They receive bold styling and off-road-inspired detailing on their exterior and interior and are based on the Compass Longitude (O) and Meridian Limited (O) trims respectively.

The Compass Trail edition gets:

✅ Hood decals, matte black and neutral grey accents

✅ Glossy black 18-inch alloy wheels and roof rails

✅ Black leatherette upholstery with red stitching and red dashboard accents

✅ Trail edition floor mats

The Meridian Trail edition gets:

✅ Hood decals, neutral grey and piano black accents

✅ Gloss black roof

✅ Bblack interior with red accents, piano black centre console and speaker surrounds

Jeep India have also introduced ‘Jeep Trust,’ an exclusive ownership program, as part of the asking price of the Trail editions. Compass Trail edition buyers will receive a three-year annual maintenance contract (AMC), five-year extended warranty and direct cash benefit of ₹20,000. Meridian Trail edition buyers, meanwhile, will benefit from a three-year AMC.

The Trail editions–the Jeep Compass from ₹25.41 lakh onward and the Meridian from ₹31.27 lakh onward–are available for a limited time across Jeep dealerships in India.

The 2025 Indian Racing League season is officially underway as complete line-ups for the six franchise teams have been decided through a driver draft.

For the upcoming season, the grid will feature 24 drivers across the six team with a varied mix of motorsport disciplines. They include international champions like Tom Canning (British GT Champion), Neel Jani (Former Formula One test driver and Le Mans winner), Indian talents such as Shahan Ali Mohsin, Ruhaan Alva, Sai Sanjay and Sohil Shah, as well as female racers like Fabienne Wohlwend, Gabriela Jilkova, and Caitlin Wood. The grid also includes reigning two-time IRL champion, Raoul Hyman.

It won’t be a long wait before racing action gets underway as Coimbatore will play host to the first of a five-round season at the Kari Motor Speedway, scheduled to run from 15-17 August, 2025.

VinFast have opened bookings for their VF 6 and VF 7 electric SUVs in India for a fully refundable amount of Rs 21,000; this can be done either at VinFast’s showrooms or through their website. Both cars will be launched in August, after VinFast’s Thoothukudi plant has been inaugurated.

The plant is slated to have a production capacity of 1.5 lakh vehicles annually, and is expected to generate employment for 3,500 professionals over the next five years.

In order to set-up a nationwide charging and after-sales service network, VinFast have also announced partnerships with RoadGrid, myTVS, and Global Assure. Additionally, their partnership with BatX Energies also indicates VinFast’s intent towards building a circular battery value chain in India.
