Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan Programme Organised at Sadyal Thandikassi, Manjakote
Manjakote, June 2: Under the ongoing Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan, an awareness programme on drug de-addiction was organized today at Sadyal Thandikassi, Manjakote. The programme witnessed enthusiastic participation from local residents, youth, women, and members of the Mahila Nigrani Samiti.
The programme was attended by the RBSK Team, which actively participated in creating awareness about health-related issues among the community.
Speaking on the occasion, Israr Bukhari, JKAS, CDPO Manjakote, highlighted the harmful effects of drug abuse and emphasized the need for collective efforts to make society free from the menace of drugs. He urged parents, teachers, and community members to remain vigilant and guide the younger generation towards a healthy and productive life.
Dr. Asim from the RBSK Team delivered an informative session on the objectives and services of the Rashtriya Bal Swasthya Karyakram (RBSK). He also educated the participants about the importance of early identification and treatment of health conditions among children.
A large number of villagers, youth, and women attended the programme and actively participated in the awareness discussions. The members of the Mahila Nigrani Samiti also played an important role in the programme and expressed their commitment towards supporting the Nasha Mukt Bharat Abhiyan.
The programme concluded with a pledge by the participants to work together for a drug-free and healthy society.
