काशिवासलोकपुण्यपापशोधकं विभुम
नीतिमार्गकोविदं पुरातनं जगत्पतिं
काशिकापुराधिनाथ कालभैरवं भजे

Meaning:

The supreme leader of the spirit realms, the bestower of boundless glory, and the cosmic judge who purifies the sins of all who dwell in Kashi. The ancient master of justice and the Lord of the Universe. Bowing to the supreme ruler of Kashi, Lord Kaal Bhairav.

अट्टहासभिन्नपद्मजाण्डकोशसन्ततिं
दृष्टिपातनष्टपापजालमुग्रशासनम ।
अष्टसिद्धिदायकं कपालमालिकन्धरं
काशिकापुराधिनाथ कालभैरवं भजे ॥७॥

Meaning:

Whose roaring laughter shakes the entire cosmos, and whose single glance shatters the web of accumulated sins. Adorned with a garland of skulls, the fierce ruler who bestows the eight ultimate yogic powers (Ashta Siddhis). Bowing to the supreme lord of Kashi, Lord Kaal Bhairav.

नित्यमद्वितीयमिष्टदैवतं निरञ्जनम ।
मृत्युदर्पनाशनं कराळदंष्ट्रमोक्षणं
काशिकापुराधिनाथ कालभैरवं भजे ॥६॥

Meaning:

Whose lotus feet are adorned with the brilliance of gem-studded sandals, the eternal, taintless, and ultimate deity. He shatters the pride of Death itself and liberates us from the fear of mortality. Bowing to the supreme ruler of Kashi, Lord Kaal Bhairav.

धर्मसेतुपालकं त्वधर्ममार्गनाशकं
कर्मपाशमोचकं सुशर्मदायकं विभुम ।
स्वर्णवर्णशेषपाशशोभिताङ्गमण्डलं
काशिकापुराधिनाथ कालभैरवं भजे ॥ ५॥

Meaning:

The guardian of righteousness and the destroyer of unrighteous paths. He breaks the complex bonds of karma and bestows ultimate peace, adorned with a golden serpent. Bowing to the supreme ruler of Kashi, Lord Kaal Bhairav.

Meaning:
The bestower of worldly joys and ultimate liberation, adorned with a golden belt of tinkling bells. Loving to His devotees and standing as the soul of the cosmos. Bowing to the beautiful guardian of Kashi, Lord Kaal Bhairav.

"Śūla-ṭaṅka-pāśa-daṇḍa-pāṇim Ādi-kāraṇaṁ..."

This verse glorifies Lord Kaal Bhairav as the Primordial Cause of Creation the eternal Lord who holds the trident, noose, axe, and staff, each symbolizing His power to protect, discipline, destroy ignorance, and guide souls toward righteousness.
With His dark divine form, fearless presence, and love for the cosmic Tandava, He represents the unstoppable rhythm of creation, preservation, and dissolution. Free from all worldly limitations, He stands as the eternal protector who removes fear and leads His devotees toward truth and liberation.

Bhānukoṭi Bhāsvaraṁ Bhavābdhi Tārakaṁ Paraṁ..."

Radiant like millions of suns, the blue-throated Lord with three divine eyes, Kaal Bhairav is the One who guides souls across the ocean of worldly existence. He is the Lord beyond time, the conqueror of death itself, and the eternal, indestructible protector of His devotees.

Every word of this verse reminds us that when all worldly support fades away, Kaal Bhairav remains the unwavering refuge, leading us from fear to fearlessness and from ignorance to liberation.

देवराज सेव्यमान पावनाङ्घ्रिपङ्कजं
व्यालयज्ञसूत्रमिन्दुशेखरं कृपाकरम
नारदादियोगिवृन्दवन्दितं दिगंबरं
काशिकापुराधिनाथ कालभैरवं भजे

Meaning:-
Whose holy feet are always served by Lord Indra, the king of the gods; who wears the moon and the serpent as His head ornaments; who is clothed in the directions (as a sky-clad ascetic) and whose worship and praise are performed by the assembly of great sages like Lord Narada, I worship that Lord Kalabhairava, the master of Kashi.

Mahadev does not rush He walks with purpose, reminding us that true strength is calm, true power is compassion, and true freedom is found within. Wherever He walks, fear dissolves, the mind becomes still, and the soul remembers its eternal connection with the Divine.
