You're not stressed about the work.
You're stressed about the result you can't control.

2500 years ago, Krishna told Arjuna the same thing on a battlefield:

"Karmanye vadhikaraste, Ma phaleshu kadachana."
You have the right to your work, never to its fruits.

Most people think this means "don't care about results."
Wrong.

It means care about your effort, not your anxiety about the outcome.

Because the outcome was never fully in your hands.
The market. The timing. Other people's decisions. Luck.
None of that is yours to control.

Your effort is.

So do the work like your life depends on it.
Then let go like it doesn't.

That's not detachment. That's discipline.
That's Karma Yoga.

And it's the closest thing to peace you'll find while chasing something big.

Save this if you needed it today.
Follow for wisdom that actually works in real life.

The Biggest Difference Between Indian & Western Gen Z

Indian Gen Z vs Western Gen Z β€” what’s the real difference?

Same generation, but very different cultural experiences.

Relationships, independence, social norms and self-expression β€” things that may feel normal in the West can still feel like a major cultural shift in India.

But with more freedom to express comes an important question:

How much should we express, when should we express it, and what should we express?

What do you think? πŸ‘‡

Hard work or destiny which one actually decides your success?

Most people spend their whole life stuck on this question. And that's exactly why they stay stuck.

The Bhagavad Gita answered this 5000 years ago, in one line:

"You have the right to your actions, never to the fruits of those actions."

Translation? Do the work. Obsess over the effort, not the outcome.

Because here's the trap we all fall into we work hard for a week, don't see results, and quit. We check our progress every single day like it's a stock price. We tie our self-worth to something we were never meant to control in the first place.

Karma isn't about "doing good to get good." It's about detachment from the result β€” so you can act with full intensity, without the anxiety of "what if it doesn't work."

That's not spirituality. That's peak performance psychology, written before psychology existed.

Show up. Do your karma. Leave the rest to the universe.

Is Gen Z really lazy, distracted and addicted to technology or is something deeper happening beneath the surface?

Gen Z is growing up in a completely different world surrounded by smartphones, social media, AI, short-form content and endless information.

But with more opportunities and technology also come anxiety, comparison, procrastination, attention problems, career pressure and confusion about success.

In this episode of The Vedic Show, Aparna Sharma sits down with Vivek Panwar Ji from AKSHI YOGASHALA YOGA SCHOOL to explore the psychology, lifestyle and changing mindset of Gen Z.

The conversation covers:

β€’ Why Gen Z is often called lazy or distracted
β€’ Social media, screen addiction & short-form content
β€’ Gen Z, anxiety, stress & emotional expression
β€’ AI, careers & the fear of job displacement
β€’ IQ vs EQ β€” what matters today?
β€’ Gen Z and the changing definition of success
β€’ Procrastination, discipline & motivation
β€’ Indian Gen Z vs Western Gen Z
β€’ FOMO, doomscrolling & modern digital habits
β€’ Gen Z, spirituality & ancient wisdom
β€’ Relationships, commitment & loneliness
β€’ Self-love vs self-obsession
β€’ How to reduce screen addiction
β€’ What younger generations can learn from older generations

Rather than simply asking β€œIs Gen Z lazy?”, this conversation looks deeper into the social, psychological and spiritual factors shaping today's youth.

We fear people more than we fear consequences.

Think about it

You won't lie to God, but you'll lie to your boss.
You won't cheat when you believe someone's watching, but you'll cheat the moment you think no one is.
You'll fold under someone's opinion faster than you'll fold under your own conscience.

That's not respect. That's fear.

And fear of people always has the same root a missing fear of something higher. Call it God, call it karma, call it your own integrity watching you when no camera is.

The moment that inner fear returns, the outer fear disappears.

You stop performing for people.
You start answering to something real.

Because the one who fears God, fears no one. And the one who fears no god, fears everyone.

Follow for daily wisdom that hits different.

Why Gen Z Always Feels Stressed?

Is Gen Z too expressive, or are they simply more open about their mental health and emotions than previous generations?

In this short clip from The Vedic Show, the conversation explores Gen Z psychology, mental health, anxiety, depression, stress, self-expression and laziness. Gen Z has more freedom to openly express when something feels wrong, but does this freedom sometimes turn into excuses or avoiding responsibilities?

The discussion looks at the positive and negative sides of Gen Z self-expression and why understanding the difference between genuine mental health struggles and everyday challenges is important.
