So fortunate to find 100’s of years old vedic texts.. you feel overwhelmed when you find such bindings that itself have their history and have been read by many generations.

These texts are a rare find, I saw something like this for the first time and it led me to think more about how important it is to preserve our culture and traditions.

Found this in a remote village of Purvanchal UP and realised how blessed we Indians are to have such texts which passed on values and taught to live life since ages.

Not only that, meeting the older generations who used to read them also kind of made me understand that the values and the strength those people carried came from the roots and the belief system in which these texts played a huge contribution.

Posing with Ravana in Srilanka. This is how people of Srilanka see Ravana 👇🏻

During my one month stay in Srilanka I interacted with many Srilankans about Ramayana and Ravana. Interestingly none of them consider them as bad, they consider him as their king. They feel that Ravana was multitalented and one of the most powerful kings of Srilanka. Even the picture is of Ravana and you can notice how smart Srilankans have potrayed him on the wall painting.

Have you also felt same while travelling to Srilanka?

Have you ever gone 200 feet underground in caves where there is very little oxygen, no light at all and the underground tunnels that lead to different world altogether.

There is such a cave in Srilanka , I thought a lot about doing it or not but then Ek zindagi meri 100 khwahisha yaad aa gya and I did it. Would have missed so much if I would not have done this in Srilanka. It’s also said that Ravana hid Sita ji in this cave. Even the diving expedition has been conducted by researchers and they say that the water at the bottom which is crystal clear leads to another tunnel and there is connection between two tunnels. Noone knows the source of water which looks that it’s not deep but it’s so deep, divers were able to measure 70 ft inside of it.
