IAF and Coast Guard unite for marine conservation and operational synergy beneath the waves
– A joint scuba diving expedition between the Indian Air Force and the Indian Coast Guard, titled “Forging Bonds Beneath the Waves,” concluded in Goa, marking a milestone in inter-service cooperation and marine conservation. Flagged-in by Air Vice Marshal Manish Khullar, the expedition was earlier flagged-off by DIG Manoj Bhatia aboard ICGS Sujeet on October 8. Twenty divers explored the ecologically rich Angria Bank, 70 nautical miles west of Vijaydurg, Maharashtra. The mission strengthened operational synergy, honed joint diving protocols, and reaffirmed both forces’ commitment to environmental preservation through an underwater flag-in ceremony.

In a remarkable display of inter-service cooperation, the Indian Air Force and Indian Coast Guard successfully concluded a joint scuba diving expedition, “Forging Bonds Beneath the Waves,” at Angria Bank. The mission, aimed at enhancing synergy and promoting marine conservation, was ceremoniously flagged-in by AVM Manish Khullar.
