The Maharashtra Food and Drug Administration, led by Tukaram Mundhe, has ordered the closure of a Pune spice and dry-fruits shop owned by Pravin Goyal, father of Siya Goyal, who has been accused in the Pune fort murder case.

According to reports, the Market Yard establishment was allegedly operating without a valid licence, with authorities finding substandard, poorly labelled and suspected adulterated products. The FDA seized 4,172 kg of food items worth around ₹8.14 lakh, while four samples have been sent for laboratory testing. The shop will remain closed pending further action.
