Naga Civilians Under Attack: Time for Decisive Action

The recent attacks on Naga civilians by Kuki groups have raised serious concerns. Most Kuki settlements are located within areas traditionally under Naga jurisdiction.

In the event of an escalation to full-scale conflict, the humanitarian impact on all communities would be severe.

The Naga people have shown great patience. Instead of repeated condemnation letters, we now need concrete steps to ensure the safety and security of Naga villages.

It is time for Naga leaders and the people to unite and respond firmly to protect our land and our people. 🚨💔🏠💪

9 Houses Burnt in Tokpa Liangmai Village, Kangpokpi

Kangpokpi, Manipur – Nine houses were reportedly burnt down in Tokpa Liangmai Village late Tuesday night.

According to local sources, the incident occurred around 9:30 PM in Tokpa Liangmai Village, located between Mahika and Lower Thanamba Village in Kangpokpi. Sources allege that the houses were set on fire by unidentified persons believed to be from the Kuki community. All 9 houses were completely gutted in the fire.

No official confirmation has been received from the district administration, Manipur Police, or security forces at the time of filing this report.

Villagers have expressed concern over the incident and have appealed to authorities to conduct an immediate inquiry and ensure safety in the area.
