A proud moment to cherish as our Girlsโ€™ Contingent poses with the March Past Championship Trophy, secured during the Inter-School March Past Competition held at Government Senior Secondary School, Sombaria, as part of the 80th Independence Day Celebration.

Celebration of Independence Day at Kripasalyan Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Daramdin

Kripasalyan Govt. Sr. Sec. School, Daramdin celebrated the 80th Independence Day of India on 15th August 2026 with great patriotic spirit, enthusiasm and pride. The celebration was organised as a short and meaningful programme to commemorate the historic occasion and to remind everyone of the sacrifices and contributions of the freedom fighters who dedicated their lives to the nation.

The programme was graced by the presence of the Honโ€™ble Zilla Panchayat Madam, SMC Chairman, SMC Vice-Chairman, SMC members, teachers and students. Their presence added significance to the celebration and encouraged the students to participate with enthusiasm.

The programme commenced with the hoisting of the National Flag, followed by the National Anthem. The unfurling of the Tricolour created a proud and patriotic atmosphere across the school premises.

Students and teachers presented patriotic songs, filling the surroundings with a sense of national pride and unity. The performances reflected the love and respect of the school community towards the nation and its rich heritage.

The celebration also served as an opportunity to encourage students to understand the importance of freedom, unity, discipline and their responsibilities as citizens of the country. The gathering paid tribute to the countless freedom fighters whose courage, sacrifices and determination paved the way for an independent India.

The programme concluded with the distribution of sweets among the students and staff. The celebration was conducted smoothly and successfully, with everyone participating in the spirit of patriotism and togetherness.

Although the programme was brief, it was meaningful and memorable. The celebration ended on a joyful, respectful and patriotic note, leaving everyone with a renewed sense of pride in being part of our great nation.
