Chief Minister Mamata Banerjee Launches 'Banglar Bari' Scheme in West Bengal! This state-funded housing project aims to provide affordable housing to 28 lakh genuine beneficiaries identified through a state-conducted survey. Key highlights of the scheme are: Beneficiaries: 28 lakh families will receive financial assistance to construct their own homes. Financial Assistance: Each beneficiary will receive a total of Rs 1.2 lakh, disbursed in installments. The first installment of Rs 60,000 has already been transferred to 12 lakh beneficiaries.
